Classes

This class is aimed at children aged 18 months to 3 years. We learn basic ballet steps, sing nursery rhymes and explore different ways of moving. Each week, the children love to open their bags to find various props to dance with and we finish each session with some play time and a biscuit. Classes are held at Cornubia in the heart of Par.

This is a popular class and booking is essential.

Street dance is an umbrella term for styles including hip-hop, house, locking and breaking. Students learn the fundamentals of each genre and can progress into higher levels whilst being encouraged to explore their own unique flare. Our street dance class is held at The Burrows, Centre in Par.

Our syllabus allows students to develop their technique while exploring the different styles of modern stage including lyrical and jazz. Students have the opportunity to take examinations up to vocational level. Modern classes are held at the Alexander Hall in St Blazey.

A relaxed class suitable for all abilities from complete beginner to experienced tappers. Progress at your own pace while learning this wonderful art form and keeping fit. Age knows no bounds, whether you're 17 or 97, everyone is welcome. Classes held at the Burrows Centre in Par.

In this class, young dancers get their first taste of ballet as well as building on gross motor skills such as jumping, hopping and skipping. We also like to utilise props and explore free movement. This is our most popular class and often has a waiting list, please get in touch to check availability. Class currently held at Cornubia in the heart of Par.

Tap dancing develops a students musicality and coordination as well as building on strength and overall fitness. Our dancers love to make some music whether that’s with their feet or clapping rhythms with their hands. Classes held at Cornubia in Par and at the Alexander Hall in St Blazey.

We follow the NATD's Classical Ballet syllabus which gives students a thorough grounding in the Russian style of ballet technique along with an appreciation of music, mime and national dance. Dancers have the opportunity to take examinations from Foundation up to Vocational levels as well as medal tests. Classes held across Cornubia in Par and the Alexander Hall in St Blazey.
