About Us

Pointe Academy of Dance launched its first  parent and child class in January 2023 with just three students. A few weeks later, the main school opened and offered its first ballet and tap classes to the local community. Students enjoy coming to their lessons, learning new skills, making new friendships and building confidence. The school continues to expand and we hope to offer more classes along with performance opportunities and examinations. All of our classes are currently held in the upper hall at Cornubia on Eastcliffe Road.

Miss Natalie began dancing at the age of 3 with the Bluebell School of Dance in Kent. Whilst there, she performed regularly and represented the school at local competitions. At age 16, she continued her training with Mid-Kent College as well as attending The Urdang Academy in London on their Associates course, she then went on to train at the Northern School for Contemporary Dance in Leeds. Miss Natalie worked professionally for 7 years, performing in various touring pantomimes, holiday parks, hotels in Greece, character work and finishing her career with a tour of the Middle East in the world renowned ‘Sesame Street Live’.

Miss Natalie then returned to the Bluebell School of Dance to work as a teacher and it’s there she gained her Associates Qualification in Ballet. She is also a qualified fitness instructor and personal trainer which enhances her dance teaching with a thorough knowledge of anatomy.
